This Water Bottle Bag Is My New Favorite Purse: And Oprah's Too

As a full-time working toddler mom, I do not have the hands to juggle a purse on top of my work bag, child's backpack, and daughter who refuses to walk into school by herself. My current life situation has led me to a hefty reliance on crossbody bags and fanny packs (I am forever indebted to Gen Z for making these popular again). The Mary Poppins purse is the days of old for me — I now need to be totally and completely hands free.

While my many mini mom bags are conveniently portable, they do lack a good bit of space. I've learned to pare down to just the essentials though: a wallet, lip gloss, keys, sunglasses, and my 40-ounce emotional support water bottle. You see my problem. Which is why when Oprah selected the bottle-toting bag known as the WanderFull in her Favorite Things list from last year, it immediately caught my eye, though in my newborn haze when my child was just a sleepy little potato, I didn't think I really needed it.

Joke is on me, because this bag is basically my fifth limb now. It has a full main-sized compartment that can fit my beloved Stanley cup and a zippered front compartment that stores my keys, cards, and lip gloss. It's no surprise that this beautiful little bag made Oprah's Favorite Things list yet again this year. At $59, the price is a bit high, but it's one I'll pay for my sanity — and use of both hands. Get this for the mom of littles in your life this Christmas and she will thank you forever.

You might say, "Why do you need your water bottle?" to which I will respond with, when was the last time you tried taking a toddler to Target? It is a full-time workout and I need the shopping cart cupholder for my coffee. Yes, this bottle-toting bag is an essential for me.

This year Oprah selected the vegan leather bag that comes with interchangeable straps, which is so chic. I love my navy blue puffer version, but I might just have to snag this new one too, especially since it's currently 20% off. After all, if it's good enough for the Queen, it's good enough for me.
