The Bag Trend Celebs Wear But Royals Don't
When I first saw the latest outfit Jennifer Lopez was photographed in, I zeroed in on her Gucci crossbody bag—not because it's incredibly chic, but because it's also incredibly practical. It also reminded me of a viral TikTok video I made about five things royals never wear. At the top of the list? You guessed it, crossbody bags.
As it turns out, the classic bag style is considered too casual for working royals, so they gravitate toward more polished pieces instead. As commenters pointed out, royals have aides and security to help them with their personal belongings, meaning they rarely need the space a crossbody bag can offer. For the rest of us plebians, however, the style is suitable for nearly every occasion under the sun. Scroll down to see examples of how celebs and royals wear different bag trends.
